I particularily couldn't agree more about the 'typical' Hoboken buyer, they all want a 'move-in' or even 'turn-key' condition, no one with a 50+ hour a week job wants to spend their limited free time renovating a condo! I can't tell you how many listings are overpriced, sit on the market and get stale and never sell. It's a shame because many of them are nice properties. They say all sellers are 6 months to a year behind the times and buyers are 6 months to a year ahead of the times when it comes to price. There is some truth to that.
