Unfortunately this auction company (sheldon good) is crooked. They are dishonest about what they have in terms of inventory and about the results of their sales. They make promises they don't deliver on and their follow up (after an auction, for exapmle) sucks.

My friend actually purchased one of these units at the auction for 345,000 plus the auction fee which came out to 379,000 for a 2 bed/2bath renovated condo. I think she did extremely well for a first time buyer and got a great deal! The place is beautiful and she is only one flight up which makes it ideal. The night of the auction though all of the apartments went for auction... I wonder if they fell through because people had trouble getting the FHA loan for that building because of the commercial space (as the case with my friend). We took a look last week at the other units during the open house and the broker Lana didn't even know the prices of each unit or care to give us any info.... I'm also happy that she went for the 2 bedroom... both rooms are a much better size than in the 3.. it would be hard if each of those rooms were used as a bedroom. Its going to be interesting to see if these remaining units even have interested buyers.
