The Weekly Wednesday Wrap Up – Hoboken Condo Sales and Activity for the Week of December 22nd.
Categories: Weekly Wednesday Wrap Up
Hoboken Condos Inventory & Sales – Week of December 22nd.
It’s official – the holiday season is upon us. Time to forget about real estate for a few days and have some fun with friends and family. Despite what negative things anyone may say about Hoboken and the real estate market we are still better off in so many ways than what, 90% of the planet? So spend the week focusing on the positive and have some holiday cheer. Turoff Team is taking the rest of the week off.
Happy Holidays!
Here are this week and last week’s numbers:
- 450 active Hoboken condo units today – 461 last week.
- 9 price reductions, vs. 15 last week
- 6 dabo (under contract) vs. 10 last week
- 23 sold vs. 15 last week
- 14 new listings vs. 12 last week
- 9 expired listings vs. 8 last week
I know what I want from Santa – a real estate industry with technologically progressive, open, honest and transparent rules and ways of doing business that put the interest of the consumer first; ethical, educated, professional realtors. OK – more lots sales and fewer short sales would be nice, too. In the meantime, please fill out this form for the report with the links:

Thanks for all the work this year Lori.
2010 predictions anyone?
I see continued weakness and lower prices continuing throughout the year.
You’re very welcome Stan. I’m going to spend next week thinking about 2010 and will write a post over my ‘week off’. Happy Holidays!
I got an email from 700 grove. they are selling an apt with a wrap around balcony for 391 sq ft. Not sure why anyone is paying the averages stated above when you can just buy cheaper directly from Toll.
Am I missing something here?
speaking of 700 grove, a friend of friend lives in one of those condos, she says that many restaurants in Hoboken do not deliver to her address, simply because it’s accross the street from Observer.
I like how Toll try to promote it as ‘Hoboken’
Ho,
Does it look straight into the train? If so, question answered.
700 Grove is in Jersey City – not Hoboken. I don’t post averages for JC so I can’t say how 391 / sq. ft. compares. Remember, too, that there was a plan approved for the ex-fire chief to build 12 stories on the lot right next to 700 Grove which may kill the views from those wrap around terraces. We shall see.
location for walking anywhere is terrible – toll and buyers are sucking it up on that one….
