Happy Thanksgiving to All Our HREN Friends!

Temp 026Some People really love Christmas.  For others it’s New Year’s Eve.  There are people that look forward to their birthday, or the birthday of a spouse, child or grandchild.  For me, there is no question – my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.  The football, the deep-fried turkey, the pre-Black Friday anticipation… man-oh-manischewitz, it doesn’t get any better than this.

But seriously, Lori and I have so much for which to be thankful.  We have built a life for ourselves here in Hoboken and could not be happier.   We have a beautiful home, many close friends and literally thousands of cyber-friends through the success of HREN.  Most importantly, we have our boy Sempai – the King of All Canines.  Most of you know about his cancer scare, so I won’t repeat the story.  Let’s just say that everyday when I wake up and he is there wagging his tail and waiting for breakfast, it’s Christmas, New Year’s and the 4th of July all rolled into one.  I’m being as literal as I can be when I say that Lori and I thank God EVERY DAY for his good health.

We wish everyone of you the success, health and joy that we have, and that you can recognize and appreciate your good fortune the way we do.stairs Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Congratulations on your terrific article in the Times! You deserve it. And, for your wonderful blog, which continues to provide great info on the Hoboken market. I still recall a nice conversation I had with Howie, a year ago, when I first got involved with Hoboken real estate. It was a welcoming, collegial chat (all too rare in our highly competitive field), defined as which by its intelligence as its generosity.

Keep up the good work Lori and Howie!
