10 Years Of New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence!

The NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales Award recognizes those realtors who have demonstrated excellence in the field. I’m happy to announce that I’ve achieved the 2015 NJAR Circle of Excellence Gold Award. In addition, I have been presented The New Jersey Distinguished Sales Club Award for having been a recipients of the Circle of Excellence Sales Award for 10 years. Merely lasting in the crazy business for 10 years ought to be recognized.

While I’m certainly happy to receive this recognition, what would truly make me happy is if the state and industry regulatory bodies made it much more difficult for someone to become and remain a realtor.  More training is required to cut hair than sell homes.  There are simply too many terrible agents out there and their incompetence often hurts the image and reputation of the capable ones.  Not to mention making it extremely difficult to do a deal with them as they have no clue what they ought to be doing.

Buying or selling a home is often one of the most important decisions and highest dollar value transactions in which you will ever engage. Do your due diligence before you hire an agent.  Find out your agents work and educational background, real estate experience (both personal and professional), certifications and other qualifications for your own sake.  I see consumers be pickier about who does their nails than who represents them when they buy their first home.
