Fewer new listings this week. Maybe the Spring rush to market has already sprung? Overall, inventory remains fairly low with under two hundred condos for sale total. I remember very clearly the days of over 500! Don’t we all wish we had bought them up back then…

Hi Lori, I’m relatively new to your site – thanks for the market data! You stated under 100 condos for sale, but then it shows 185 condos for sale right below that statement. That seems to be near recent year highs, am I missing something? I live in Downtown Jersey City, seems like the market is being impacted by the revaluation, do you think it’s a blip or something significant?

Typo somewhere – let me sort it out and correct. Thanks for catching. I try, but nothing is perfect.
Hoboken had it’s reval a few years ago and even though some homes saw steep increases, it is now pretty much forgotten. The same is likely to happen in JC in my opinion though JC does have many more tax-abated buildings. Jersey – the entire state – has high taxes. It’s a simple fact of living here.
