127 willow had a hot week! Nice high prices. It will be interesting to see the closings going forward now since they more reflect the properties that went into contract after mortgage rates starting moving north. Still historically low but buyers get anchored to rates and those low 4% rates they were used to seeing for a long time may be gone for good.
i found my closing docs from my first condo purchase in NYC back in 1990. 12% for a 30 year fixed.
I have not yet seen any impact on sales recently over 5% rates. I think stock market volatility scares buyers more than a tiny rate hike.
