Plan Your Hoboken Open House Tour Using Our New Improved Color Coded Map!
There are very few Hoboken open houses to visit this week and we suspect there will be even fewer next weekend. As we pointed out last week, this happens every year and is not necessarily a reflection of the housing market’s recent woes. As always:
- Red dots are for 1 bedroom condos
- Green dots are 2 bedroom condos
- Yellow dots are 3 bedroom condos & houses
- The Deal of the Week is indicated with a bright, yellow dollar sign.
- Markers with a dot in the center are Open Houses from previous weeks. We are very aware of which units are likely to have open houses again in the near future (even if they are not necessarily having one this weekend) and we don’t always delete those as it saves us input-time in preparing future maps.

As we get closer to Christmas and Hanukah there will be fewer Hoboken open houses to visit. This happens every year, recession or not. If you’re out there looking, there should be fewer buyers to compete with and there are still plenty of sellers anxious to sell, so utilize our color-coded weekly Hoboken Open House Google Map to plan your search.
- Red dots are for 1 bedroom condos
- Green dots are 2 bedroom condos
- Yellow dots are 3 bedroom condos & houses
In addition, the Deal of the Week is indicated with a bright, yellow dollar sign. Markers with a dot in the center are from previous weeks. Looking for Hoboken open houses? If you took the Thanksgiving weekend off from house-hunting, you may not have noticed the latest improvement to our weekly Hoboken Open House Google Map. The property markers are now color coded according to condo unit size.
- Red dots are for 1 bedroom condos
- Green dots are 2 bedroom condos
- Yellow dots are 3 bedroom condos & houses
In addition, the Deal of the Week is indicated with a bright, yellow dollar sign. The blue markers are from a previous week. We leave those on until the last minute as it saves us input-time if there is a last minute announcement. Take a look - the map is way easier to read.

There are plenty of properties on the market (as described in our recent posts Where is the Hoboken Real Estate Market Headed? and the November Hoboken condo sales results.) and some good deals to be had.

We made a nice improvement to our weekly Hoboken Open House Google Map. The property markers are color coded according to condo unit size.
- Red dots are for 1 bedroom condos
- Green dots are 2 bedroom condos
- Yellow dots are 3 bedroom condos & houses
In addition, the Deal of the Week is indicated with a bright, yellow dollar sign. You can ignore the blue markers as they are from last week. (If there will be an open house next week as it saves us a bunch of time). Take a look - it’s way easier to read.

You’ll notice that there are very few open houses in Hoboken this weekend. A slow down during the holiday season is to be expected. Many people leave Hoboken to visit family or hit the mall. Maybe less buyer traffic will make jittery sellers drop asking prices. There are some good deals out there, especially when you consider that interest rates are down again.

Hoboken Open Houses for This Weekend
Here is this week’s Google Map of Hoboken open houses. This is the last big OH weekend before Thanksgiving and the unofficial start of the holiday season. Happy house hunting!
You can search by unit size, price or location. If you hover over the blue markers you can see more details. Double click on the “bubble” to get the details and a link to the actual MLS listing.

As always, we update this map with any last minute changes on Saturday morning so be sure to check back. You may wonder why we keep the past open houses on the map. It just saves us a ton of time and effort since we don’t have to re-enter them from scratch when they show up again in the next week or two. But we’ve learned a new google trick so next week you’ll see only the current open houses. Any of you know how to make the blue bubbles different colors? We’d love to color code them for you by unit size.

Did you know that if you go to an open house and when the hosting agent asks you to sign in you say “I’m already working with another realtor”, you don’t have to give them your contact info and they are supposed to leave you alone - you won’t be inundated with emails from them for the next century? (Feel free to use my name). Of course, you are wecome to view the property.
