The Condo Market Freezes in Hoboken
It’s no surprise given what’s happened in the financial markets that for the first time since we’ve been tracking these numbers there were no Hoboken condo units under contract in any size category. Understandably, most buyers are taking a “time out” if they can and waiting on the sidelines to see where the market is headed. Here are this week’s numbers:

QUARTERLY STATISTICS
Yesterday marked the end of the 3rd quarter of 2008. I will compile quarterly stats and post them as soon as possible.
I’m going to wait a bit for two reasons - first off, I’m going on vacation tomorrow for two weeks. I’ll try to post while I’m away but may have limited internet access. My assistant will post the Hoboken Open House google map & Wednesday Wrap Up. I’ll be back on the 15th.
Secondly, some of the transactions don’t get recorded in a timely manner. Waiting a little allows for more accurate numbers.
